The Palette is a new app featuring data from NYC Open Data that will appeal to all art lovers. The Palette provides a place for the user to explore all the art foundations and functions throughout the city. This app provides museum and gallery information including business hours, admission prices, address, contact information, and exhibitions. This app also offers insight to where public art can be found throughout the city. The new camera feature will allow the user to snap a non-flash photo which the interface will read and retrieve information about the piece. The Palette is great for a student searching for a new art gallery to reflect on or an artist that wants to attend different artist lectures. This app will not remain static because it will update with new exhibitions, lectures, and pieces that are being shown in the city. The Palette gathers all art and artist information from around the city and compiles it into an easy, informative guide for art explorers.
